    Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) is a highly versatile closed-cell bead foam that provides a unique range of properties, including outstanding energy absorption, multiple impact resistance, thermal insulation, buoyancy, water and chemical resistance, exceptionally high strength to weight ratio and 100% recyclability. EPP can be made in a wide range of densities, from 15 to 200 grams per litre, which are transformed by moulding into densities ranging from 18 to 260 grams per litre. Individual beads are fused into final product form by the moulding process resulting in a strong and lightweight shape.

    EPP has a shape memory allowing it to maintain its structure and to deform without breaking, thus increasing its longevity and durability.

    MATERIAL HANDLING APPLICATIONS: There are several “closed loop” methods in which ARCEL foam can meet your individual handling needs. After delivery of the original ARCEL product, customers use and reuse the product until such time as the brand the product as “spent”. The final step in the life cycle of ARCEL foam product is recycling the obsolete or spent product and reintroducing the recycled particles into “new” molded foam parts.
